Types of Mortise Handles

 

1. Plate Handles:

 

Mortise handles that come with plates are known as plate handles. Available in 2 sizes – 8 and 10 inches, they are the most commonly used handles, especially in commercial applications.

2. Rose Handles:

 

Lever on door handles where the lever is fixed to a square or a circular plate, also referred to as the Rose or Rosette. These handles are the new fashion trend amongst all mortise handle design. Especially preferred by architects and interior designers, they have gained significance over time.


3. Baby Latch Handles:

 

Lever latch mechanism is used for Bathroom doors that don’t require to be locked. It’s a simple to use mechanism, which only requires the door handle to be pushed down for the door to open. They do not come with the mortise lock. Commonly used for bathrooms and places which require less security.
